Okay guys, I need some help with this one. My cousin has a 7.7 mm Japanese rifle and we can't find ammo for it anywhere (okay, ammoman has a little but it's really expensive). I've seen dies for this caliber but not brass or bullets. What's a fella to do?

Neck size 30.06 brass with the 7.7 die. Use a .311 or .312 diameter bullit. Not sure about overal length for the 7.7 but any good reloading manual will have that information. Can't help with a powder load but any light load listed for the 06 should be a good start, Arisaka's are tough rifles. Since you are using the 06 brass you can use Springfield stripper clips. If money is no object you can buy 7.7 brass but it will be expensive. :)
