Step #4 in CMP Garand

Checked my CC online last night and see that the charge for the rifle hit on 12/20. No charge for the ammo yet. CMP is closed until 1/2/02 so I can't get a tracking #. Anyone know if they ship on or near the date of charge to CC? I guess I'll know if it shows up this week. When I talked with them on Wednesday they didn't have a serial # assigned so they couldn't give me a ship date.

Richard, They usually ship right after the CC hits. I expect they will ship next week because of the holidays. Hope you get a nice one! I'm waiting on a Danish myself, but no CC hit yet. Don't know about the ammo, but I have some on order also. HTH

Patience is a virtue. I've had them take 3 weeks from the CC hit to delivery...

The M2 ammo is temporarily out of stock. They say they anticipate resuming shipment in late December/early January.

Waiting's hard isn't it!

Whoooa, no that's a Garand. Is it the original wood with some TLC? I'm working on the patience thing but it's slow going. Where can I get some en blocs? Bill Rigga in SGN seems to have the or at lest one of the better deals. Anyone else? Also how do you load the clips? Do you need a set of cardboards? TIA
