What do you guys do with your duds???

I must of gotten another bad batch of 8mm. I loaded 15 rounds into my Turk Mauser. 12 fired OK 3 didn't fire the first time and 1 didn't fire at all. I found a groundhog hole and threw the dud in there. What do you do with yours???

After about 30 seconds, rifle pointed down range, I eject the DUD. Then I dig a hole with my boot heel, and kick the DUD in the hole then cover it up with dirt. I NEVER HANDLE THEM. 8dDUCE.

I pull the bullet and poor the powder into a boxer primed Winchester brass case and reseat the bullet. I'm a Yankee and hate to waste anything.

Dear Fellow Members-I'm gonna catch some flak for this,but please remember that Combloc primers are generally "harder" than American primers.I just put back in the mag and refire!Have not had a dud yet that did not fire the second time!I have also done this successfully with European ammo.Would not do it with new US commercial though!My .02 worth:)-Gearhead.

I usually save them up and give them to the cats to play with.

I pull them apart and dump the powder into a container. When I have enough for some fun I usually pour the powder onto a rock and light it. Can you say 12 foot high flame. Hehehehe :D
