M-44 Russian 1948 Barrel on a 1945 reciever? It came like this?

Thank you, it is on top of the Breech/ Chamber.. The 1945 is on the Reciever Underside. 8dDUCE.

Well, I know the Russians made alot of spare receivers and barrels so it's probably not too uncommon, especially on the refurbished jobs. I'll have to look a little closer at some of mine and see if I have any like that.

Thank you but No it is not from AIM, I bought it at a PAWN SHOP in Daytona 2 years ago, it was $80.00. I could not get the money out of my pocket fast enough. 8dDUCE

You know what, I have never been in a Pawn Shop, infact I never even saw one until I went to North Carolina last year on Vacation.
They don't have them around here for some reason....

I find ALL kinds of DEALS on C&R weapons. The dealers bring them in due to low cost, and get stuck with them. Alot of people arond here do not like MIL- SURPLUS weapons. I go to the range, and people freak out. I will print just as good if not better than them, with a 50 plus year old rifle! I LOVE IT!!!! My "cheap" as they put it, rifles will scare ALOT of Rem, Winchester, Savage, and other more expensive rifle owners. 8dDUCE.
