Yup, when I found that rifle my eyes were sticking out so far you could have wacked em with a stick. Some of the stamps on the barrel and wrist area of the stock indicate that it was re-arsenaled some time by the husky factory. I assume thats when it picked up the bent bolt. It has all stamped matching numbers no engraved crap. This gun has more proof marks on it than anything I have ever seen............

But I just came from the local Gun store where I bought their last two boxes of Winchester 6.5X55
ammo. Even the bullets are beautiful.

These rifles have the look and feel of a Swiss watch-quality in every part. It must be love as some fella sang in a song.

I'll definitely be keeping an eye open for these any time they hit the market.

In trying to make a comparison between the M-96's and the MN 91/30,the Mausers to me, are like a fine Glennfiddach Scotch or a Randal Knife and the MN's are like a shot of grain alcohol or a mass produced Taiwanese Bowie.

I'm not trolling or trying to put down the MN's for those who find'em attractive, but for that feel of quality, those Swedes are sweet.

Ahhhhhh Misguided, you continue to taunt me with your collection of Swedish Mausers. I guess I need to get my new camera over to the store and photograph the the ones in the vault.

Got a minty Husky 96 Marksman rifle over there. The only damage to the stock is what resulted from the monkeys who packed it at SARCO where it came from. The dumb-asses just filled the box up with styro-peanuts and then dropped in the bolt!  The bolt put a pretty bad mark on the buttstock near the disc hole. BTW, this one came without the disc, it had never had one put in the hole on the stock.

Errrh, excuse me, I wondered away there for a moment in a flight of fantasy or was it wishful thinking?
