Based on people I've talked to, it takes about two weeks from the time you get the package till you get the license. (Nevermind that I got my license and then had to write and ask them for the package.) Since he got his package today, I'll say January 9. Not quite two weeks, but that's my bet and I'm sticking to it.

Neilwest, I think Zouave has a great point; now that he mentions it, I remember getting my license about a week before the books arrived. Good luck, just remember to leave some C&Rs for the rest of us:D
