W2K, I bought it about a year ago from a coworker. The gun came as you see it. I am the 2nd owner. I am thinking of selling at this time.

I've only seen one ad in Shotgun News for the 52...it was priced between $250-300 (if memory serves).
But, those were offered in "good" condition and as I found out when I purchased my Yugo SKS from SOG..."good" is not universal!
I heard the company selling the 52's in Shotgun News had guns which had been "painted" (I am not certain, but I believe they are painted black on the reciever!
You may wish to check around on several C&R forums before turning loose of your gun to get a fair value.
Oh, I also would like to know what caliber your gun is?

The rilfe is 7.62x39 cal. You can tell the difference in the 7.62x45 and 7.62x39 in the mags. On 7.62x39 the mags have a slant cut at the bottom. The 7.62x45 mags our straight on the bottom. I think have pic at home of the difference in mags and will post later.

Once you have done the math and have established a fair price, let me know, I might be interested...I'm a lefty.
Thanks.
