Need help with magazine

I picked up two extended floor plate magazines today,they both need cleaning but I cannot get the floor plate off.The spring is not sticking out like on the original and it will not lift up.
Anyone know what I'm doing wromg?

I don't know what these look like, so I have to guess.

If the mags are open on the sides like a regular 8-round, try inserting a screwdriver through the side slot near the bottom. Turn the mag upsidedown on a table or bench and compress the spring away from the floor plate. Hold the spring compressed with one hand and slide the floorplate forward and off with the other. Assemble in reverse order.

You have have the type of extended floorplate that has a recess machined in the floorplate, but not all the way through the thicker extended area. Turning the mag upsidedown and "pushing" the spring away from the floorplate is the only way I can imagine to do it. The spring may be stuck in the recess, and you might have to try some gentle force.

I looked inside with a light,it looks like the spring is epoxied in place.
I guess these don't come apart.
