I saw a 1942 Longbranch in .303 and a .308 Ishy 2A 1965 cutdown Quest Extreame (Looks like the Jungle carbine) at the gun store today.

These are pretty neat looking, except I don't like the silver finish as much as blue.

Does anyone have one and how are they as shooters. The bores were both mirror. Of course everything else looks brand new. He wanted about $300 each for them, what's the going rate. I think TennGuns or someone had them...

Thanks alice, after checking around I decided that too. I'm just going to get a C&R Jungle Carbine when the opportunity arises.

Gibbs is/was hacking those 2A's down. I think they're "manufacturing" them as the Quest and the Quest Extreme now (not sure what the difference is). These carbines are too small for my taste. If I'm buying a .308, then I want a full-length rifle. I've seen the electro-plate models selling for between $250 and $300 at shows. I know Classic Arms has one for sure.

Schuetzenman shut yo mouf. Don't you be bustin' on the Enfields, boy. :p
