Argentine 1911's

I bought a Systema Colt 1927 this weekend. It was the top quality reconditioned version.

I shot it Sunday with S&B 230 gr fmj's. God, it was right in the middle even at 25 yards!

I love this gun! Who could need anything else?

I agree... Mines an actual Colt that was made for the Argentine Federales....What's yours say on the slide?Both sides?

Mine says Sist. Colt Cal 11.25mm Mod 1927

It is one of the Argentine made Colts, but it is completely interchangeable with the 1911's, unlike the Balester Molina. Mine was an early import, I guess as it is not a JLD. Mine is from VAM Dist Wooster Ohio.

Guys, I don't have a digital camera, but will try to find a picture of the Type I Sistema Colt 1927 that JLD is advertising. That is the one I have.

How much do these 1911's cost? I would be willing to buy one if they are cheaper then say a new Springfield 1911.

They are $299. at most places that sell them. CDNN has them for that. Well worth it IMO although I have not bought one....YET!!!!

Yes I did. I want to get a Star too eventually.
I do better with that super than I do my Ruger P95DC.....
