I got my PSO 1 scope from Tantal and will be installing a side rail on my 85B as soon as I can. In the meantime I tried sliding it on my SAR 3 rail to use and it slides on about half way and then stops. Did not want to force it and I can not see what is stopping it from just sliding on all the way. Any suggestions? Am I doing something wrong? The rail is the original that came on the SAR 3. I thought this scope could be used on any AK side rail.

Check the bottom of the mount... that thing is adjustable for tension on the side rail. You need to loosen it a bit.

Yes, it is a bit too tight, do the initial adjustment to get the best fit on your rifle. Here is a good link for the procedure:
