it didn't have one when I bought it and I found this on in a box at a gunshow
it looks to short for this rifle like it came off a paratrooper maybe?
what do you think?
and where could I get a long one like on the yugo?

Try Centerfire Systems or Tapco and ask for a Romanian bayo, that should work. That looks weird, like it was modified..or maybe it is from a Para rifle, except all the para's I've seen had spike bayos.
When mriddick get's here he'll probably know.

Yep thats a cut down Chinese "para" blade bayo, these were modified standard bayo's cut down when the rifle became a "para".
I would get a chromed standard blade bayo for your Russian, a blackened Russian would be correct as well but these were put on refrib guns and I perfer the "standard" look.
Redstar is right on as any of those places should be able to hook you up for around $10 with a correct one (I bought a Romanian blade from CFS myself).

I got yours and sent a reply but it must not of made it? Anyway the handguard I have is a hardwood russian not laminated, it's just the handguard though.
I do have a 51 Tula hardwood stock and handguard mounted on a gas tube as well.
