I believe in the future the IO guns will comand a premium over the CAI guns, that is a nice looker for sure. What acessories did you get with your rifle? I know alot of guys are looking for slings for the CAI imports that almost universally don't come with the acessories.

I agree. I'm very happy I took a chance on the first batch of imports. Although the pic quality sucks I can tell you there's not a scratch on the rifle anywhere, everything is brand spankin new.
I saw somewhere someone is already charging $350 for like new.

On the accessories it came with everything, I got the ammo pouch, original sling, oil bottle and cleaning kit.

I got a 'good' Century import which I like as well, just needed more work, and it came with zero accessories, not even a cleaning kit in the stock. Had the rod at least. My local dealer got six of them and only one had a rod.

Time will tell, but I put this Yugo up there with my Ruskies. Haven't shot either one yet however, and that will be the true test.

writenow60107,

You can't upload photos like we used too. The Admistrators gave us a Christmas present this year, photo hosting, which you can see at the top left corner of this page. Sign up, its free! once you upload your photos you can put them in your posts.

To pop in a pic, you just use the Photos url in between the [IMG] commands. The website gives you that link all you have to do is copy and paste it here.

Its not hard once you get used too it.

No I think these blonde ones are Elm. The grainy stocks on the Century imported rifles are Teak. If you've ever seen the Yugo M48 Mauser's, witht he bold grainy wood, those are Teak. I have one of each and like them both. This stock doesn't have much grain at all but looks real nice.

I'll try to get my pics going this weekend and I can do a side by side.

Redstar,
Great looking gun! Mine's a mirror image, also an I/O. I could not be happier.
A price update:
I went to a gunshow in KC yesterday and on one table a guy had four that looked just like ours and he was firm at $450.00
I did not see ANY difference in his guns.
I even shot mine this weekend.
