I put my K98k in the new stock from Advanced technology last month. To keep the scope low as possable I used medium high weaver rings but the front of the scope touched the rail,so I filed a two inch long section out for clearence.
I took it out today,it took a long time to get it sighted in at fifty yards because I didn't have the rings tight and the scope moved forward causeing it to ride up.
Any after fixing the problem my next three shots hit around the bulls eye two touching it.
I only had six rounds left to shoot at the one hundred target, first two hit high on five inch bulls eye,i adjusted scope next four hit just under center in aprox. one to one and a quarter group.I'll take more ammo next time & see if the scope holds.
I think I'm going to like it.

Hey SKS45,
How's the length of that stock? Similar to the original? Also, did you remove the front sight easily? Thanks
P.S. If you don't mind me asking, how much was it? Where from?

I got it from Tapco,I believe I paid $69 for it.
As you can see in the post from Zouave I did not have to modify my German K98 in any way, thats why I went with this outfit.
It looks a little weird but after a while it kind of grows on you.
Look at the picture above, see where the front of scope is,I had to file a section out for clearance as m y scope was touching there.
I hope I didn't leave any words out of this post like I did in my last one.

The only problem I can see with this stock is that it covers the stripper clip guides. Would it be possable to remove the part over the loading/ejection area so the guides could be used? The first time I saw this stock advertised it was as a scout stock, IMHO it is not.

You could possibly cut out a section and still have room to mount a long eye relief scope but it might not be too solid.

Is the scope mount removable? Id prefer a lower mount, that looks way too high. Overall how do you like it? Thanks

No the scope mount is not removeable,it's an integral part of the stock.

Overall I like it pretty well, its better than having to drill and my reciever or mess up my stock on my matching numbers K98k.
And so far it's a tack driver in this configuration.

I'd like to add this stock really tames the recoil.I had never fired my K98k before putting in the ATI stock,I've shot it three diffrent times with no discomfort.
Yesterday I ran ten rounds through my new mod.98 Yugo and my sholder is still hurting.
