I believe I might have a canted front sight post on my SAR-1. Will a gunsmith be able to fix this? Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
Thanks Again,
Shawn

If you're gonna send it back, why bother.
Or
If not, try taking apart the rear sight block. Re-adjust the sight on the bbl. only one pin to pop out and the sight block has some slop (movement) so it will move somewhat. Then put the pin back.
It may not be the frt sight, it maybe just the way it LOOKS, because of the cant on the rear sight in relation to the frt sight.
Than again there are some that tap out the frt sight pins and re-drill the hole "bigger" replace the frt sight, then install bigger pins.

Yeah, he should be able to fix it. I had my gunsmith heat the sight tower base and then hammer it over till it was straight.
