Ziggy:
I would go take a look. The price sounds pretty good for the K31. I would appreciate it if you could give us all a 'RANGE REPORT' on Big5. We got one in Oregon, but I just haven't had the time to go see yet. The Sunday paper every couple of weeks has their flyer.
If you can, report on what they have, the quality and the pricing.
CA out.

1. I just ordered one through AIM for 109.00. This is the shooter grade in VG condition. They have a handpicked for 159.00 I believe. The link can be found on the Distributers section.:D

These are the same k-31's every other dealer is selling. You can buy collector grade from AIM $179.

I have always liked big five. I used to buy hockey sticks there every once in a while. They seem to alwaysw have lots of surplus WW2 rifles. Don't know why but what ever one you go to they will almost always have some.

the current batch of c&r guns around here are of poor quality.some nagants and fr8's are even sold without bolts!and speaking of the spanish fr8's,they look so horrible that they look like they were made by 8 year olds out of balsa wood and card board!its because of this that i havent bought a c&r rifle in almost a year.but i plan on getting my c&r this year and beefing up my collection.

1. get the license. If you dont like what they ship you, send it back and try again. Century will allow you to do that for sure.
