Sig P220

I just stumbled across a used Sig P220 .45 ACP. The gun is about 90-95% with minor holster wear and comes with tritium sights and three magazines. I picked it up for $400. What do y'all think?

Yes, that's an outstanding deal. The same pistol, new, with night sights, would run over $700.00.

Excellent price! SIG P220 is one of the most accurate semi-autos ever. Actually, the development of P225/226 was only caused by the fact 220 was too expensive for Swiss army to adopt (it was about $1400 when was introduced).

But I cannot understand what the version is it. 220 in .45 was first introduced as a sporting model (and it was about $1700), or am I wrong?

Excellent find. You will be amazed with its accuracy. Other than the crappy finish on Sig's in general the firearm is of exceptional quality and its the right caliber.
