My MAADI wouldn't hit primer hard enough to fire Wolf 7.62 ammo. Also shot two shot burst today twice. I put it up. I took it apart tonight when I got home. Had broken disconnector spring. Does the disconnector
spring have to be as stiff the one that came out? And have any of you had any problems with Wolf 7.62?
Thanks, Kirk

One of my Ak's will pump out 2 at a time once in a while while shooting Wolf. Hey... I only shoot Wolf.

I do not think it is the ammo. When I get the time (I am in the middle of working on 2 guns and have a third on the way) I am going to completly replace the hammer, trigger and disconnector. There is just better U.S. stuff available now.

By the way, I don't like my disconnector spring. (it has a lot of tension) so I am going to replace it as well.

Simple explanation there. The firing pin isn't returning to its rear position until it hits that second round.

I though AK's and AK variants had firing pin returning spings?

Throw some oil on the firing pin and let it seep down into the firing pin housing.

Or, if you want an MAADI that will shit out its entire magazing with one pull of the trigger, weld the rear fo the firing pin (where the hammer strikes it) to the bolt. It becomes a ram-fire weapon. Not recommended however! http://www.ak-47.net/akcgi/wink.gif
