sarco has parts kits and the semi auto conversion kits.
the conversion kit is a 80% finished so no ffl required.
is it hard to finish the last 20% whats involved? do i need
a mill or will a drill press work? does anyone sell a completed
side plate and would it be better to go that route?

Its hard all right. a surface grinder and a mill would be good to have. Drill press isn't going to cut it, (no pun intended.) The semi's have to have the lockframe and barrel extension and bolt made thinner by about .020 roughly so that the thicker semi side plate won't accept drop in full auto parts. Also a disconnector modification is required. The weapons need a safety on them to be compliant as well.

Try here on www.1919a4.com its a site devoted to semi and full auto 1919 Brownings.
