Are the newly imported M59/66 Yugoslavian SKSs classified as C&R? I thought I saw something about this a while back but I could not find these listed on the BATF website C&R list.

YES!! they sure are.

There's alot of stuff not on the list, they only update it every couple of years.

Currently Russian, Romanian and Yugoslavian SKS are C&R elegible.

Thanks REDSTAR-

I spoke to a BATF agent the other day regarding my SKS (actualy started a thread on the subject)..at any rate he did say that he just received a new C&R list. I asked him about the Yugos and he said that there were no SKS(s) on the list. (wtf?) he also told me I could put the pig sticker back on my chicom w\o any problems from the BATF (hmm??); I don't really think he knew what he was talking about that's why I'm posing the question here regarding the Yugo. Should I wait for them to update their website or is there a new list floating around? You obviously have new data.

....sent in my app for a C&R license; can't hardly wait.

I would suggest that you get the excellent condition Yugo SKS, the reports on the "good" ones have been very disappointing.

The Romanian SKS are also C&R eligible.

BTW I know what the janitor at the BATF told you, but I would not put a spike bayonet on any SKS.
