Left is a Laminate 1951 Tula SKS with blackened bolt carrier, I put the brake on in my stupider days. This rifle shot 1.5" to 2" groups with a cheap norinco scope the one and only time I took it out. When I first fired it with the open sights at 50 yards, I got a 1" group. Very good shooter this one is.

Center is a Maadi RML, the closest thing to a Russian AKM that I have. I refinished to wood on her.

Right is a Hardwood 1952 Tula SKS with chrome carrier. I bought that on Sept 12 of this year and haven't fired it yet.

In forground is a 1938 Tula M1895 Revolver and a Tapco Russian Officer's Ushanka.

No, I have that one loaded as a back up in case anyone wants to mess with our home but I never fired it.

The pics make the rifles look alot more glossy than they are, I had a light on. Next time I'll turn the light off. The Maadi is a glossy finish but not as glossy as that pic looks.

You need to get yourself one of those 1927 Argentine's for home defense....There ya go,perfect excuse...."But honey I'm not sure a handgun that old wouldn't blow up or be accurate enough to protect you,the 1927's are only about ~$200.....Wouldn't you feel a lot safer with a .45 honey???

LOL!

I like leaving a loaded revolver out better than the semis for safety issues. It's alot harder to pull back the trigger on this revolver. Plus at close range I think you'll find that Nagant round will kick some butt.

SOG and Georgia Arms sells Fiocchi new production Nagant 7.62 ammo for $29 per $50. You can get a 32 acp cylinder that fits the revolver but that costs as much as the gun, but then again, the ammo costs as much as the gun :D I paid $49, came with the lanyard, holster and cleaning 'rod'. Actually I bought two of them and gave one to my dad.

Here is a great site on M1895 Nagant revolvers
http://www.geocities.com/Pentagon/Bunker/4064/PersCollection/M1895page.html

Here's a brief ammo spec:
A standard load would be a 108 grain lead bullet behind five grains of smokeless powder. This would produce a velocity of 725 f.p.s. with 122 foot pounds of energy.

Not a moose killer but like I said at close range...

W2K- The camera is a Panasonic 1100.

I love my Panasonic Super Disk digital camera. One super disk (looks just like a floppy) holds 500 SF pictures. 1500 640x480 pics, takes 10-second movies, and much more. Haven't had a single problem with it. Took 3500 pics so far.

Nice rifles Redstar.
