In early December I ordered the Armalite M15A2 from my FFL. Was told at the time that I should see it around the end of January. Anyone here have any experience with this rifle? Is the recoil compensator that comes with this weapon a POS as I have read since I made the order? Thanks

Not a pice of shit, works excellent, keeps barrel on target but substitutes as the cannons on that Tampa Bay boat....You know the one explodes when the Buc's get a touchdown!!! :)
Lotsa blast and noise.
If you can have the FFL call them up and see if they can't put a Wilson combat Compensator on it. Looks a lot better and less blast/noise i've heard. Might cost you $25 or so extra.

If the M15A2 you ordered has a 20" barrel you don't need a muzzle brake. IMO you should have bought a Bushmaster, you would already be shoot'n.
Bushmaster gives you (3) choices of very functional muzzle brakes.:bigdeal:

I have owned and shot Armalites & Bushmasters. I sold all my Armalites but I have several Bushmasters that are awsome shooters. Armalite gauranties 1.5'' groups at 100yds.
Bushmaster gauranties 1" groups at 100yds. Bushmaster also offers a wide selection of options like 3 choices of muzzle brakes (post ban), and fluted barrels , and free floating barrels , and adjustable 2-stage triggers , and on their A3-FLATTOP the carryhandle is included not optional like Amalite.
Bushmasters service and technical support is excellent , they will take care of any problem to customer satisfaction.
No I don't work for Bushmaster, I'm just a very satisfied customer, thats why they are (THE BEST-by a LONG SHOT!)
