I put a scope on my Galil .308. Before going to the range I wanted to get it somewhat sighted in. You can bore sight it pretty well by removing the bolt/carrier/piston and recoil spring assembly and stock and sighting through the receiver. I got enough view through the barrel to get it sighted on a spot to adjust the scope. Now just have to go to the range.
