These are some examples of the $20 ufixems I mentioned on the old board and in the restoration forum. I had a problem with the wood bondo I used. Very hard and smooth finish but it won't take stain for shit. On these I cleaned with Purple Power and then finished with BLO and Bowling Alley Wax.

I've been using PP for a while now and it is good stuff. I just PPed my MAS36 last night and after rubbing the BLO in tonight it looks pretty nice. This stuff really cuts the grease and oil out of the wood. Just got a 2.5 gal jug at advance Auto the other day for $7 & change.
