Forgive me, I was going to post this in the Mauser forum but I was not sure if I would get a good answer. The reason I ask is because mine is in the exact same condition plus my muzzle not cover has matching S/N to the gun. I paid $300.00 about 6 months ago and I thought that was to much.
ARGENTINE Model 1909 Mauser bolt-action rifle #F9692 (7.65x53) mfg. by DWM in c. 1912. UNISSUED, with nearly 100% original bluing (receiver in the white as is proper for these). Bore is mirror-perfect, Argentine crest is extremely bold and beautiful. All-matching numbers (including wood and cleaning-rod). Gorgeous streaked reddish-walnut stock that has never been sanded with intact cartouche on right side, a few scuffs and dents from contact with adjacent rifles during normal storage & handling through the years. This rifle very simply looks NEW rather than 86+ years old, of the absolute highest prewar workmanship and quality. Not import-marked, UNIMPROVABLE! PHOTOS . . . $725. C&R
