1. Talking about my K-31 I was asked if they needed the stripper clips to load like the M1arande does. I didn't know and as I have no ammo yet I deferred the question to Redstar. He loaded his from the top without the stripper and it loads fine.
2. Stripper clips are not needed to load but if anybody wants them they can be had from Numrich GunParts for $5.00 each.:)
3. Again thanks Redstar. You answer the hard questions for us.:D

Be prepared to spend at least $50.
Swissdagger on www.swissrifles.com sells em for $60 plus shipping from Switzerland.
Go here:Swissdaggers page on swissrifles.com (http://www.swissrifles.com/~swissdagger/)
Be prepared as well to see a bunch of stuff you think you're gonna need now.:D:bigdeal:
Also regarding stipper clips, the Swiss Rifles Forum has a deal going on at $2.25 ea plus a donation for shipping.
Go here for those:SRF (http://pub55.ezboard.com/fcollectorguns35625frm1)

Yep no clips required to load. But remember the mag comes out with a pinch of the release latch. Very easy to load outside the weapon and then seat it back.

$80???? Jesus, I'll pay a few dollars more and get a Shooters Grade K31 from AIM, and I'll get a rifle included with the mag!
Jesus, I guess I'll forget about that idea!

Gun Parts / Numerich Arms has them for sale at $55 each listed price. Just saw them in their ads in Shot Gun News.

It's my understanding that the Gunparts Corp mags are Indian reproductions, not the real thing. Also, the qualilty isn't very good.

Whether or not they are Indian made (doesn't surprise me) or not I'm not exactly jumping on a $55 buck magazine. That's way to expensive for a 6 round mag!
IMO an extra mag is a waste of money. Only thing that can fail on it is the spring. I might get an extra one of those if possible.
