Worse than that is the fact that Whos2kno is kind of kinky too, he seems to have a foot fetish.

Actually, I prefer handguns. I have the following C&R's which are fairly common and un-spectacular...however, they all go bang and that's my preference...I try to buy shooters.
CZ-52
CZ-50
Argentine Sistema-1927
Polish TT-33 (non-C&R)
Mauser Pocket Pistol (my only "good" C&R)
East German Makarov(s)-2
Russian Commercial Mak (non-C&R)

I also like semi auto carbines and rifles thus
I favor SKS's etc.

Very familiar! Do you like yours as much as I like mine?

On Saturday I shot about 100 rounds through my Springfield. This means I finally passed the 1,000 round mark. I've had only one FTE in all that time.

1 ? really? That's Great! I've put 350 rnds (from 3 different mfgs) through mine in 3 outings... not 1 problem as of yet...

oops, i lied.. the rear sight set screw (allen screw) came loose but the grove is so tight it didn't budge.

Yeah, it was strange. The spent case popped up like normal, but as the slide came forward again, it caught the case just at the rim. I held the gun upside-down, pulled the slide back a fraction of an inch and the empty brass fell out. I asked someone about that once, and he said I had an extractor problem. I doubt it. If there was a real problem, this should happen more often.

BTW, I saw some people complain about the Novak sight on 1911forum.com. It seems like some Springfields have a problem with the set screw and some don't. Go figure.

Sounds like maybe someone at SA just has a sight screw loose ;)
My friend has the same pistol w/ 1 exception, he has adj. sights. His slipped too. Honestly, if this is the only flaw I can find w/ the gun, I'm Thrilled with my purchase :)

I had my heart set on a Colt Sistema but Sesh's thread about his JLD loosey-goosey has me thinking twice. I'd like a pimped out Kimber but unless I have some rich uncle that I don't know about, I'll just have to dream about that one.
