Reloading the WOLF 9mm, 45 Auto cases? Picked up about a dozen 45 cases at the range today gonna try to reload them, so far it looks like I should be able to do it with no problem.

Just was wondering if the steel cases will still be strong enough after being fired once? All the cases seem to be within specs.

I have reloaded steel 7.62X39 cases before brass was available.
Just make sure the 45 cases are boxer primed. Personally I would stay with brass. 9MM and 45ACP brass is cheap.

They are boxer primed. I know that brass is inexpensive but this stuff is FREE which is always better (anyway to save a couple bucks), and it is always nice to have some throw away brass around.
Some of the shoots I go to keep the stuff.

I have reloaded S&B boxer primed steel case 223 without a problem. Also reloaded Chinese and East German berdan primed 7.62x39mm steel cases.
As long as the primers fit tight in the primer pockets there should be no problem.

Before you go and break a decapping pin check the 9mm cases again i'm 99% sure they are not boxer primed, the 45 acp are boxer but i don't think the 9mm are.

Hello. I'm new to the board, so I thought I'd say Hi. I haven't tried reloading Wolf ammo, but military ammo frequently has crimped primers. If that's the case, you'll need a special tool to ream the primer pocket in order to seat new primers properly.
