The K31 is an AIM select grade. The Pioneer Bayonet I picked up in Switzerland during a trip in Jan. 01. A guy I was working with over there just gave it too me. Seems it was his grandfathers and all this guy was doing with it was digging in his vegetable garden with it! Considering how it was being used it's not in bad shape.

I just finally got to fire this rifle on Sat. the 26th of Jan. 02. With GP-11 cartridges it was about 2 .5 MOA. With the FNM reloadable ammo it was about 3.5 MOA capable. Looks like it time to try handloads.

This type bayonet was issued to special units like enginner and artillery. The size of the blade and the saw back are for cutting brush, tree branches and sawing at roots, etc.
