The HK 94 has a very wimpy looking 16 inch barrel. To overcome this and increase sales in the US, HK marketed an item that was ventilated and slid over the barrel. It had a handle underneath for your nonfiring hand to grasp. Although it served no purpose other than astetics, it did give the weapon a more aggressive and beefier look. Has anyone thought of making such a device for the Krink guy that doesn't like the Fake suppressor and whose CLEO might be against SBR. The outer shell could be reminiscent of that on the British Sterling. The muzzle end could be made stabile by turning down a piece of metal whose inside diameter was the same as the outside diameter of the barrel. The rear could screw onto the available brake threads (4 piece brake only?) of the front site assembly and engage the detent on the front site assembly that would normally be used for the muzzle brake. It would be quite simple and inexpensive to make.
1. Wouldn't require SBR / Save $200
2. Maintain 16 inch barrel for accuracy
3. Removable for cleaning
4. Different look
5. Less weight

I am sending a Krink kit and preban to Informer (If he agrees to build it) and was thinking of having it done to mine until the SBR gets approved but would hate to waste Garys time trying to explain it in an email. Lord knows the man is busy. Hopefully he will read this and have a picture in his head. What do you guys think. Any imput?, Photos etc....
