If the bans keep going the way they have been, like what they have in California and now New York, these weapons will become worthless. Once these particular registration schemes become nationwide, you will NEVER be allowed to sell your registered "non-sporting assault rifle".
When you are done with the rifle you can't give it away, you can't sell, you can't pass it on to anyone in your family. All you will eventually be able to do is turn them in at your death or when you are otherwise through using the rifle, or render it permanently inoperable.
So don't forget to consider that our high dollar currently collectable weapons could someday be only custom lamposts or welded up wall hangers.
Look at England, that's where we're headed.
Regards,
Mike

I bought one about 3 months ago for $1,600.00 and everyone on the forum said it was a good price. As time goes on, price will come up specially with all the assault rifle ban going on.
