My local gun dealer has (and has had, for years) some Yugo AK-47s. There are three different models.

Two models are chambered in .308.

I examined the one chambered in 7.62 x 39 mm
the other day. The tag says "M90", but nowhere on the receiver could I find "M90". I do believe that "Mitchell Arms" was scratched on the receiver somewhere.

These rifles all have incredibly "fat" thumbhole stocks on them which do not match the handguards. The handguards appear to be original wood.

They are asking $793. as I recall for the 7.62 x 39 AK, and more for the .308 models.

I don't think these have sold well because of the high price. But now with all other imports cut off, they are starting to look more reasonable.

I just wondered if $793. was a fair price for this rifle. I would definitely want to get rid of the incredibly ugly and stupid thumbhole stock. I suppose thats just a matter of custom-fitting some US-made stock set.

Oh, by the way, the receiver was stamped, not milled.
