Here's the pics of my M-90's taken with a shitty little kodak. The quality sucks, but you get the idea. http://www.ak-47.net/akcgi/cool.gif Also, I posted more pics under a vol. 2 heading 'cause there is an 8 photo limit per post.

Are thoses .308 or 7.62x39 ?
How much did you pay ?
I paid $1100 for a Post-Ban .308 RPK M-90 with one factory magazine and PSO-1 scope that actually fit the rail. I paid $2030 for a Pre-Ban Standard .308 model that came with 8 factory magazines. I have seen a lot of trash talk lately about the price of yugo AK's. I personally have never seen a post-ban under $800 or a Pre-Ban under $2000 in standard, RPK, .308 or 7.62x39. By the way: a Bulgarian SA-93 or SLR-95 wood thumbhole stock will fit Yugo M-90's with a little modification. I have a Sa-93 thumbhole stock on my .308 RPK and it is rock solid. I would advise using a buffer tho. E-mail if anyone is interested and i will tell you what to do and i can send you some pics of my modified stock.

Man that is one nice RPK. I had never seen a YUGO RPK yet. I wish I could find one for a fair price. Thanks Repairman all you need now is my underfolder to finsh your collection.

ndm86, I paid $575 for a NIB M90 ak47, found a NIB M70 ak47 for $1500 which I offered $1250 for (didn't get it, yet) and a NIB M70 ak47 Underfolder for $1700.
I also found several others for the price ranges you mentioned.

Underfolders are damn sexy, but I'm just not going for one.

Any of the Yugos are right up there in the top ranks of the highest quality semiautomatic non-sporting assault rifles.

Personally, I think a RPK is almost as useless as an underfolder...UNLESS it's a Yugo RPK like repairman has. Which by the way, for some reason doesn't have a finned barrel. I thought all the Yugo RPKs had finned barrels.

Anyway, I'd like one of those Yugo RPKs almost as much as I'd like a Valmet M78 RPK in 7.62x39.

Thanks for the pic's repairman, everybody needs a good look at what they should be wishing they had.

Regards,
Mike

Valmet M76,
Yes, it has a finned barrel. I'm not kidding when I say that Kodak 35mm is junk. My Canon AE1 died and I miss it. I will re-scan and post the barrel section. In this area of the country, the prices of Yugos are high. If you want one You will pay many gringo greenbacks for it. Most dealers will only talk a hundie or two at most off the price. I'm just glad to have a good job and a wife that knows it's useless to complain about my obsessive habits. (You ought to be around here on the 4th of July!!! http://www.ak-47.net/akcgi/biggrin.gif

ndm86,
Both are 7.62 x 39. The regular M-90 ran me $1150.00 with 2 Hungarian mags. The sling is leather and it is original Yugo (has a mark on it) The RPK had an asking price of $2200 and I got it for $2000.00 with the Russian drum (top loads like a magazine)and a drum pouch. The guy I bought it from said it came that way from Mitchell. The RPK still had cosmoline on the gas piston and bolt and there was absolutly no marks on the trigger/hammer. The reg. AK is just as pristine. Both are just like new, without box. Another dealer across the room at the gunshow had an RPK just as nice outwardly for $2500 and he wasn't budging at all. In the last 5 months I've seen 5 M-90 AK's ranging from my $1150 to $1800 in asking price and the two aforementioned RPK's. I too do not understand the trash talk about the price of Yugo's. I forget who and on which forum but one guy claimed a Yugo wasn't worth any more than a Maadi. I have seen a lot of Maadi's and it's like comparing Rosie O'Donnel (Maadi) to Pam Anderson-Lee (Yugo) Each one could screw you, but which one would you want to grab and put your hands on and touch and look at and..........sorry,

Shooter,
I'll be looking for the underfolder in the mail http://www.ak-47.net/akcgi/biggrin.gif Seriously though, I settled for a pre-ban Norinco 84s underfolder in.223 cal. w/5 magazines for $1200 the same day I got the RPK. This will do till I can locate a nice Yugo UF. That was a bad weekend for the anti cause (Mother's Day Weekend) my damage for the day was $8800. I also picked up(class III pending) an FNC Paratrooper NIB. Had to say goodbye to my 56 Chevy Sedan Delivery, but I think I'll be happier with my new "evil friend". I am doing my part to rid the streets of assault weapons! P.S. I'll be taking .223 ammo donations in the near future. Address to be posted at a later date. http://www.ak-47.net/akcgi/rolleyes.gif

There was a pristine M-70 underfolder at Sturmgewehr.com for a couple of weeks.
I went to look for the link to it but the rifle is no longer listed. It was priced at $1700 and the picture and the rifle were both outstanding.

If I'd known you were as nuts about Yugos as you are I would have given you a heads up. It was the best deal on the best looking underfolder I've yet seen.

Mike

Why doesnt a HUGE city like Houston have gun shows like this??? Youd think Texas no less coupled with the 4th largest city in America would have a nice show with Yugo's and stuff. The "best" I've yet to see at our shows are a couple Valmet's and 1!!! Galil ARM. I admit I've only been to about 8 shows but thats not much good stuff for 8 visits.

20 years ago the Houston show was a killer assault rifle show.

The assault rifle market just really isn't all that hot anymore.

From what I've been told (by a class III dealer) Ohio is a very big gun state. I think he said something like in the top 3 of registered machinegun owners out of all 50 states. Probably because due to the state constitution, everyone from 17 to 53 is a member of the Ohio Unregistered Militia

Way up here in the great N.W. part of the country there our no Yugo's for sale. The one I bought came from a friend in N.J. Over the years I have not even seen one at a gun show. Repairman I love your RPK. I have got to have one now. If you come across one for a fair price e-mail if you can.
