Cruffler.com-JLD pistols?

Hey guys, I ordered a sistema colt mod. 27 from the Cruffler.com website, I snail mailed the order on monday the 14th. They take the orders but it is really JLD that ships the gun to you. So yesterday I happen upon the actual JLD website (rather than the pages on the Cruffler site) and it shows that pistol as "Coming Soon" (which the cruffler page did NOT say). I e-mailed Cruffler yesterday and asked if JLD actually had these pistols in stock but I haven't got a response. Has anybody ordered one of these pistols from them? If you have, how long did it take to get it, or are you still waiting? It's been a week and a half, and pistols have to ship "next day air". I want that pistol!! Or at least, to know when it will ship. If it's to long a wait maybe I could find one somewhere else.

Update, got an e-mail from Cruffler, they should have the pistols about a month from now. Damn, I hate waiting that long, I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas! M44 should be here this week though, that will have to hold me over!

First one I ordered from them took about 2 months...waiting for a shipment...the second one took about a week because they had them in stock.

Be patient...you won't be disappointed!!

Just ordered mine last Thursday. It is in the USPS system right now. I called JLD directly and skipped the cruffler folks. I wanted one of the FN mausers also but they ran out of them a while ago. The gentleman I talked to originally on Tuesday was very polite but didn't know if they had any Sistemas left so he took my number and said he'd call Wednesday. I called them on Thursday and he admitted he'd lost my number but said there were a couple left and he had set aside a "very very good" Sistema for me.

In the course of my discussions he mentioned most of the Grade 1 pistols are sold directly to customers by JLD while most of the grade 2 and 3 pistols are sold to other dealers. I asked if JLD supplied CDNN investments but he wouldn't comment. He did say that JLD is the importer for these pistols and supplies several major companies with Sistemas. My guess is that CDNN is selling the grade 2 or 3 pistols.

The pistol shipped from Connecticut on the 22nd so hopefully it will show up soon. If I figure out how to post pictures by that time I'll put some up.

Thanks for all the info Sesh. I guess I'm just anxious to get my hands on that pistol! I hope it look as good as yours and the one I saw in a gun shop yesterday.
