Just got back from firing my M90 .308 Yugo - what a thrill! Fine gun, glad to add it to my collection!

However, (ain't there always?) I would like to mount my 1p29 scope to it. Have a
5-20 x 50 on a K-Var mount but sure would like to mount this fine commie unit to it too. I find the rail is some .025 inch wider than all my other East European rails. Must I mill the slot wider or was there ever a mount made for this scope that will fit my rail? Help!!

You will have to modify the mount on the scope. As far as I know, the only Russian scope made specifically to fit the rail on the .308 Yugo was the PSO-1 imported in very limited quantities by K-Var back in '96. K-Var called it the "KVO-1" and they sold the last one in '98.

I have a PSO-1 style scope that came with my Yugo. It fits fine on the rail, but the sight is just a cheesy T bar. I have not tried to shoot with it on the rifle as it is probably not sighted in for my eyes. I feel i need to learn to shoot better with open sights before moving on to optics.

I have the correct Yugo series 93 Mount for these rifles. The K VAR is too high and is junk to boot. If you want the correct military mount the e-mail me. They are $180.00 plus shipping

AKEXPERT, cvan you post a picture or description of that m-93 mount, please?

At the moment I am leaning toward just taking a dovetail cutter to the lower side of the rail so all my scopes interchange!
