Wildest traffic stop

Let's try a thread about wild traffic stops.

Monday night I arrested a guy for DUI. The usual P.C., speeding and weaving all over the road. The guy wreaked of "alcoholic beverage" and had a bottle in the seat next to him. He said he'd only had a sip off the almost empty pint. Normal stop so far....... I asked him why he was weaving so badly if he wasn't drunk. He said he was having trouble with his steering wheel...........He handed it to me to prove it. I told him no sober person would even try to drive that car and you know the rest.

How bout yall. Let's here some of the good ones.

...a convertable with two naked chicks in it just sunning themselves.:cool:

...a car and a guy tried to bail out only to be forceably restrained by his own automatic seat/shoulder belt. It about choaked him to death.:D

...a guy after a 35 minute chase when he ran out of gas.

None are really all that wild but it don't happen every day.

Best one was a guy that had been rebuilding his pickup. He had stripped off the doors, fenders, hood, bed, seats, etc. to where there was just a cab on a frame with the motor, drive train, and tires. He even had removed all the glass. Decided he needed to go to the store. He passed me and he was sitting on one of those blue plastic milk crates. I decided to stop him and advise him that he could not operate a motor vehicle in that condition on the highways of Virginia and, of course, have him get a tow truck to take it home. As he got out of the "truck", I noticed the crate followed him. He had it tied to his butt with a piece of that yellow nylon braided rope. I pointed at the rope and crate and just said "Why?" He said, "If I wreck, I want to have some sort of seat belt." Guess you had to be there...it was just plain funny.
