Since we have members who have joined our board that also supply us with our fixes, I wanted to post one major guideline:

Please do not discredit our member-distributors on a public forum until you have given them the chance to correct a problem. Their business ethic was taken into consideration before they were invited here and I think you will find the distributors and supporters of this board are all top notch companies.

Having said that, the major focus of this board is to help our members and to further the promotion of our hobby. Another focus is promotion of this site. Getting distributors on our forums is a GOOD thing.

Therefore a honest fair review of a POS is OK, but I would hope people will temper what they say with 'I haven't called them to correct the problem', etc. Once a problem is resolved I would also hope that you post a follow up regarding your satisfaction with the outcome.

Basically, we just ask that everyone treat the distributors like the other members of the board, with fairness.

With surplus rifles it is always a gamble between trash or treasure. Most of the old timers realize this but with so many new members I want to reiterate the fact that 99% of time you are not going to get a minty rifle built in a combloc arsenal that's 50 years old for $50 that matches a quality brand new American rifle. It just dosen't work that way.

I'm not writing this post in response to any posts currently on the board; I've been meaning to do this since the day the board went down.

Thanks :D
