View Full Version : $259 too much for a Enfield No. 1 Mk4?

My local store has a Longbranch arsenal Enfield Mk4 No.1 with nice blonde military furniture and the flip-up vernier sights. This looks like the exact same gun I saw at a gun show last year for $200, which I would have bought on credit, but the seller could only accept cash.

So I want it, but I feel $259 is a burn. But rationalizing buying it, it would be hard to find a gun like this on the internet and get it to me for less than $259. What do you all think?

Kind of steep have you tried talking him down?

If not and it makes you happy than get it.

I learned a long time ago not to let $60 get in the way of my happiness. I don't walk out on many deals anymore if I want it bad enough.

SOG sells VG #4 MKI's for $139 but who knows who made them.

Whenever I call SOG they never have Enfields. I'll check them out tomorrow.

Yeah, I'm just going by last month's catalog, I haven't tried to order one...
