I had no idea that some made it out. I agree - if you had it by the legal date then you can slide but most of the ones came out afterward.

Was yours issued with the certificate and are there any other differences?

It was issued with the certificate saying when in the country (March 90 which was before the signing Nov. 90) It only has the bayo lug ground off and it is the underfolder model. According to the certificate no more underfolders were brought into the country after this set. There were some YUGO's brought in after the 1990 ban and there S/N's tend to be in the 8000 range if memory serves me right. The underfolder I had was one of a group of ten that the dealer had ordered at that time. His was not the only group to come out. We were told at the time by Mitchell that all had been released and were available to purchase inlcudeing some fixed stock model's.
