with a dude from work - indoor range. It was fun, of course, but man are the Yugos heavy. Even the Ak got heavy after a while and the RPK - well there's a reason there's a bipod on it!

Only complaint is the sights - why the Yugos didn't stick a peep like Val/Galil I don't know. Just hard to get real accurate with that rear sight.

I prefer an aperture sight also, but I've gotten good results with my .308 Yugo, and I don't really shoot it that much. I've become used to it,I guess. I've put five rounds of Portugese FNM 7.62x51 FMJ military ball into 4.25" at 200yds from the bench using the iron sights. Good enough for me.

Actual designation is LMG82 squad waepon for you fact meisters! This rifle really prefers
147-148 grn ball due to the barrel twist. I hit six inch rocks w/original scope/mount at 200 yrds...this is a very accurate gun indeed.

Yes they are heavy, but not bad at all. If you can get the Hirtenberger 308 or and especially the IMI 308 (outstanding results). You should be in great shape....sorry guys I'm all out of the IMI .308 @ 130. per k. If your are interested in scopes and mounts e-mail me.
