Glad they were useful.
I've run into a problem while streamlining my MAS,some will call it bubbarizing probably.
Since this MAS would make a fine hunting carbine,I decided to remove that grenade launcher appartus that is mounted on the forward part of the rifle and was successful in getting both parts off, by removing the retaining clips, and driving out the pins.
The large portion(6") of the grenade sight,I ruined, because there's a spring recessed into that rectangular shaped retaining pin that will bind as you are driving the pin out. I think if I had raised the sight to vertical, the pin would have slipped right out, without binding the tiny little spring.
Now,here's where I'm stumped.
I can see that to remove the grenade range slider that encircles the barrel,I will have to remove the flash suppressor.
But,what do I have to do to get that suppressor to unscrew?.
Trying to turn the suppressor with channel locks just scores the heck outta the suppressor and it's not moving at all.
I could use a handgrinder to cut that slider apart but I'd rather just slip it off the end of the barrel and screw the suppressor back on the end.
Any suggestions?

I found this site:
http://pub42.ezboard.com/fparallaxscurioandrelicfirearmsforumsfrm32
and found my answer there.
Recommendation was to leave well enough alone as the muzzle brake is torqued on with such high torque you'll screw things up, most likely, trying to get it off.
