broken peice

I have a turkish mauser that I am refinishing and when I took the band off that holds the top and bottem stock together (toward the front) the little spring thing that holds it on broke off at the front where it sticks into the lower stock. Anyone know where I can get a new one?

From your diagram it looks like I need the little metal piece that you push in to get the lower band off. Does that make sense?

That looks like the piece, except it looks like the little circular stud sticking up on the left side has been ground down on mine.

this part came from a new M-48A unissued(brand new part so mine might look a little different)
do you have a C&R if so get one from century on your next purchase.I think you can get them for a 1.00 or something like that.
