Just wanted you guys to know that I got another good K31 from AIM surplus. My roommate saw my 2 select grade K31's, and really wanted one. His sister talked to me about getting him one, and for his birthday, I ordered the rifle, and paid the transfer fee. His sister and his friends are to pay me before his birthday (or I keep the rifle;) ) and I had her fill out the paperwork today for the FFL transfer.

Well, the gun was a shooter grade K31, and is a great looking rifle. I was actually surprised that it was rated as a shooter grade, and think that the only reason that the AIM staff did not rate it as a "select" grade is because the upper handguard does not match the rest of the stock on one side. it is not too bad looking, but the rifle is in fantastic shape otherwise. The buttplate on the rifle is stripped of any blueing it may have had (as all seem to be), and the rest of the rifle has about 80-90% of the bluing still on it. All parts match, and are well greased. I did not look down the barrel, but it looks like it was well taken care of.

One thing that was different about this one as opposed to the others I got from AIM is that it did not have a sling. Both of my Select grade K31's did have slings. This rifle today did have a muzzlecap though which neither of my previous rifles had.

I have a "shooter grade", it was in wonderful condition. I even got a sling, barrel cap, and a note under the buttplate.

I LOVE AIM SURPLUS!
