Do you sharpen your bayonets

My MAS 49/56 came with a semi-sharp edge already. I sharpened my CETME bayonet but have left my Turk alone. Where most bayonets made to be sharpened?

Bayonets are not indended to be sharpened

1. I believe as always it is the soldiars dicision. But they were issued a bayonet to stick, the trench knife or Kabar to slit. You decide.;)

I bought an M7 bayonet for the AR-15 and it is sharp as a razor and it is new. go figure,
