I'm looking into getting some, and i know a lot of people have said that WOLF crap is in fact corrosive.... What do you think? I want to get some non-corrosive stuff to shoot through the gorgeous barrel of my new M39, and have heard that some people think the WOLF is corrosive.
Anyone got a link to a good price on 7.62x54R WOLF or other Non-corrosive ammo?
Thanks for any help.

Wolf ammo is probably non-corrosive but I would stay clear of it because the totally black boxed ammo has a bi-metal jacket that causes premature barrel wear ! Look for the half red , half black boxes . these have the regular jacket .

Half Black/Red???Now When I first started using Wolf it was the black box 7.62x39HP.One time I ordered the same stuff from J&G but recived the Yellow box 7.62x39HP stuff.Whats the difference guys?I just thought it had been the same stuff packaged in a different box.Never took the time to read it.

AKwarrior , bi-metal jacketed ammo is OK in Ak ' s and other guns that have chrome-lined barrels .

Corrosive, Non corrosive makes no differience to me. You still have to Clean the weapon. I shoot mostly Spam Can Ammo. It works fine for me. :D 8dDUCE.

This chart shows the WOLF 7.62x54R as copper jacketed. Is it wrong?
