or know of a place to find Square lead shot for shotshells. I have heard it is made but haven't had any luck on finding any info on it. :(

Why not just use shitty, soft lead shot if you want a spreader load? www.ballisticproducts.com is the place to go for shotshell stuff,BTW.

asked them about the shot they knew the Co. name but they don't seem to be around anymore. They did suggest a a spreader wad which is just a x shaped piece of plastic you insert after you load the shot in the shell.
some one else suggested cutting the wad wings off might give that a try first.
