Zouave that's curious as I can see the images just fine. Humm . . . is it only working for the person that posts the image? Curious.

Now wait a minute I posted something off my work pc today in the US weapons forum. It's of a K31/55 Sniper rifle and I can see it here on my home PC. So how can I see it if it's off a different PC and I don't have those images here at home?

I could be wrong, but in the url you posted I see "scripts/editPhotos.fcgi?". This leads me to believe you copied the link while you were still in edit mode in your private album, thus others can't get to it.

Well the problem is Schuetz is that you never started an account at Webphotos.com. Works every single time.

Looks like they might last more than a couple of weeks, unlike the others. Hmmmm. LOL.

Also, lots of these photo boards, might have you have to set permissions. Asking, if you want to share, so... try that.

Or, just start a webphotos.com account.

I use webphotos.com and they've never been down since I used them(Starting using them when photopoint started charging) till today they were down a while for maintenance...
FWIW I see your ugly mug(or least a little of it) just fine!!!
Nice looking gun.

The condition of that one is identical to mine except my wood is walnut. If it shoots as nice as mine you have got 1 fine rifle there.

1st off I do have a Webshots account.

2nd it's not my bod shooting the K31, but it is a forum regular, that's why I was challenging people to figure out who it is.

You really can't see it? I can see it and I'm on my work box now. It doesn't have the pics stored on it like the home unit. Others are seeing these attachments. There's got to be some strange software conflict. When's the last time you updated your OS with a download?

I have windows ME at home (brand new) and Windows NT here at work, I can't see it at either place.

I can see the link but when I click on it, it says

Webshots Community Error

A problem has been detected.

Maybe only people with Webshots accounts can see the picture?

No biggie...

 I don't know either. I know I only see the Browse button for attaching a file from the PC when first making the post. If you make a post and then try to ad one by doing the edit post thing this option does not show up. I see it now as I make this post. I'll try attaching a pic of a K31/55 Sniper rifle.

Schuetzenman
03-05-2002, 11:36 AM
Well that shows up for me off the work box. You should see a K31/55 a close up view of the receiver forward on the rifle with the scope and scope can sitting on the table with it.

I imagine a lot of you know this already, but I'll mention it just in case.

For those of us that use ISPs that also provide space for a web page with your account, I find that it's really easier to FTP the pix to my own directory and post that link rather than messing with the hosting services that usually smack the pix with compression, have link probs, etc.

AOL users won't be able to this ( I think), but around here (Kansas City area) most Service Providers bundle 10mb or so of "web space" with your account. You might have to download WS-FTP and learn a tiny amount about FTP. For you old-heads that still remember computing from a command prompt (C:\ or $, etc.) you can just invoke a simple FTP non-GUI program from the RUN option on the start button.

Check the link info on this pic, comes from my own account space.

If this is clear as mud and you want to explore this possibility further, I'd be happy to try and explain it individually.

Don't know Zouave why you and some others can't see the attached files. Plenty of us are able to see them. Hey I saw buttugly didn't I! :D

I'm an NT platform here at work and XP home edition at home. Both work.
