Greatings ,Do any of you guys have a Mag for an AV 40 Tokarev that you want to sell.
Or do you know a good source to find one?

The C&R Bug has bitten and I just purchased a Mint AV40 with all matching numbers ,but it has only one magazine and I would like a second.

Exactly why I want a second I dont know, but perhaps being a Fromer Marine I always want that second mag in case the first one messes up !
Thanks Guys ............

SVT 40 mags are real expensive.....the going price is 150 bucks.... by the way you're lucky to get one...most dealers take them off and sell the weapon, and the mag separately....not too many site have them except the specility sites.....

Thanks SFC , That is spendy alright, but they have us by our stacking swivels on that one. Without a mag. My AV40 just has a hole in the middle:p

I'll check out the sight you sent ,thanks again.

Hey Unk as an idea why don't you just get some Mosin Nagant Stripper clips from Tapco. The Tokerev should be stripper loadable from the open bolt. Much cheaper than a $150 buck mag!

That prices is half the cost of the weapon. It's rediculous. Oh BTW I think Gun Parts / Numerich Arms has a repro mag for $55. Check them out.

Schuetz, Thanks for the heads up on the stripper clips ,I was thinking that way also.

My son in law Big Tuna told me about Tapco and I already ordered 20 of those bad boys so that should help......;)

God ! ,Your telling me that A "nice" AV40 is $300.00 ? The one I got with all matching numbers in primo shape at the local 1,500 table gun show was $500.00 and I thought it was a good deal ,

I will check out Sarco to get a second mag Good idea , just to have one for a spare, and even if it is a repro....Hell the original one looks like a repro

Thanks for the response pal !

From what you describe the price is right. Once when they were coming in before that criminal Klinton got in office, they were about $275 dealer. Now they are usually higher provided they haven't been ruined by fools that don't know how to clean for corrosive ammo.:(
