what do you think of these

VERY EARLY NAZI 1935-dated 98k rifles with intact Nazi markings:
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

These are RUSSIAN CAPTURES in EXCELLENT condition with bright strong
(mostly excellent or better) bores and either solid-walnut or lovely
laminated buttstocks (most of them having visible Nazi cartouches on
the wood).

All have G-coded receivers of either MAUSER (code S/42G, 182,317
produced) or SAUER & SON (code S/147G, only 75,574 produced)
manufacture. ALL have mixed pieces-parts (installed by the
Russians) that are fitted to the gun and electropencilled to match
the receiver (the buttstock is shaved and stamped on the left-side
to match). NONE have cleaning-rods or front sight-hoods, and those
with triggerguards having "guard-screws" will be missing
those "guard-screws". ALL have an EXTREMELY attractively 100%
refinish (metal is hot-dip blued) and the wood is very sound.
Headspace has been checked, and all are excellent in
that regard.

These were meant to be (and are) excellent shooters, and none of the
Weimar-style eagles (for this period) have been pinged-out or
otherwise obliterated. $250 each, two for $450, THREE for $625 (all
prices plus actual shipping).

i have seen a few of these (if they are the same ones, the ones you are asking about may have been reworked here or hand picked) and they don't look so good. they don't have any firing proofs(nazi under eagle) on them and the peenings look BAD imo. i didn't bother to check the bores. they look like they may clean up ok.

you would probably be better off getting a cdnn $100 one.

i just checked their site and didn't see them

i bought one of these about two years ago from sog i think. it was advertised as being all german complete with waffen-whatever markings, and being arsenal refinished. the price was 149.00 i was rather disappointed when it came in, but it turned out to be an ok deal after all.

the parts were all mis-matched, i mean nothing matched, but everything had numbers and those little eagle-nazi marks on it. most of the parts had been re-numbered with an electro-pencil. the stock was laminate and had been sanded and remarked. it even had the nazi marks on it. the arsenal re-finish promptly came off when i cleaned the rifle, but the original finish was just fine underneath, about 80-85%. i stripped the stock, re-stained it (that laminate is hard to stain) and now i have a decent nazi marked mis-matched russian built mutt. it is a fine shooter btw.

Guys these are not the same rifles.
If some of you remember back about 8 years ago Century imported a lot of these reworked Kar's. These were very nice. Granted they are shooters with mm parts and reblued but for the price you get a nice looking Kar that your not afraid to shoot.
I have ordered two and will let you guys know how they are when in.
These will go fast I'm sure.
Also I think this is the small lot that was for sale in Germany last summerish.

Yes Sajer,

I remember these same rifles 8 years ago.The last time Id seen these was about 5 years back and they were mismatched but in Good-VG condition. Most were missing rods that I handled. These were captured by the russians as advertised.

I've done business with Dennis before and been pleased. So I ordered one of these as soon as I got the e-mail update. I just sent one of the yugo-captured back to CDNN Investments because the barrel was heavily pitted and it totally swallowed the headspace guage. It should arrive on Wednesday and I will post a review and pics.

I ordered one too as soon as the email hit my computer. I've been completely satisfied with everything I have purchased from Dennis so far although sometimes he is a little high on his prices.
Will post results when it arrives.
