1. Just finsihed my last installment on my Broomhandle today. It is a low serial number 1916 model. Has a Imperial German Kaiser Eagle stamped into it. Produced by Mauser in 9mm.
2. I have to wait until the 9th of March to pick it up thanks to the crazy gunlaws in South Carolina. I will post pics when it comes in.:D
3. Im happy, happy, happy, broke, broke, broke.;)

Broomhandle in 9 mm  ! This is one you won't have a problem finding ammo for unlike the .30 cal. Broomhandles.
Hey any word on the range thing?

Dear Sir-Never owned a C96 ,but have read enough about them to know that they MUST be checked out by a competent gunsmith before firing. There's a bolt, screw or pin that functions as a bolt stop and which if defective can allow the bolt to fly in the shooter's face.Neat guns, but thought I'd tell you what little I know.My .02 worth:)-Gearhead.

i have a chance to get one for free!my grandpa had one he "liberated" from a german arsenal back in '44.since he died,my grandma doesnt know what to do with it. my grandpa left most of his collection to me,so i may stand a very good chance of getting it.i havent seen it in years but i remember it is not a 9mm.

1. A rebuilt #5 Jungle Enfield, not a true one but an aftermarket type and $200.00.
2. I had it valued at another shop in Charlotte for a little over $800.00.

Oh, 9mm, does it have a BIG 9 carved into the pistol grip? it should be a telltale sign.
